Our Design Build Services approach ensures the smoothest progression of every project from the initial idea phase all the way through to the finished product. Whether you are building a custom home, completing a remodel or re-envisioning your current living space, our project management process minimizes the surprises and risks that are inherent in any building project and our transparency gives you better control over costs.
STEP 1: PHONE CONSULTATION
When you contact us for the first time, we will discuss your needs and the scope of your project to advise you on how we can be of the highest and best value to you.
STEP 2: INITIAL SITE VISIT
During this initial meeting, we will sit down with you to learn more about your vision for your project. Usually this visit determines the construction feasibility of the project, reviews plans if you are already working with a designer and offers some guidelines to assist you with your vision. We can assist with putting together a design and build team if needed.
STEP 3: CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
After our initial site visit, we have the ability to provide a complimentary conceptual design, including 3 dimensional perspectives and floorplans. This will help you visualize your plan and give a better understanding as to what your end goal is. We will also help with determining whether your vision matches your budget, by providing an estimate. We are not bidding on the job, it is our best guess as to what price range your project will fall into based on your description of what you envision and similar projects we have built. This is the first step in determining if your vision aligns with your budget and whether to move forward with designing your project.
STEP 4: PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
We offer these services to help you finalize your design and estimate your project prior to construction. If you are already working with a designer, we will work alongside them to develop pricing. We also will provide input with respect to value engineering as well as design specification.
STEP 5: CONSTRUCTION
At the end of the pre-construction and design process, you will have a complete set of construction drawings, building specifications and a final price to build your project. Construction is ready to begin.
